Results

Dr. P called me yesterday afternoon and I swear, I keep my phone on me all day and then leave it for 10 minutes to get LB up from her nap and BAM she calls. Luckily we were able to get each other right before she left for the day.
The results were good. Thyroid looks good on the current dose she's on. Her electrolytes were good. Blood count showed a little infection which we were expecting so it's a good thing we got her on antibiotics finally. The only bad result was of course, her sodium. The morning sodium was the highest we've ever seen it since getting on the ddavp. It was at 147. They aren't usually concerned until it gets to the 150's or higher (before ddavp Lily's was as high as 155, to put things in perspective.) It's only a little concerning because we're on a much higher dose - twice as much as what we started with - and it's still fluctuating so much with high peaks like 147. Luckily the morning dose took it down to 141 though which is perfect, really, 140 is perfect according to the Docs.
So right now we're just going to watch her. She's not taking in any food with high sodium or anything that would spike her sodium up so this is just the DI and how it really is a tricky foe. If LB starts getting up a lot again at night for water, especially after she kicks this cold, then we are going to have to up again but we're just going to wait and see for now.
She's definitely been sleeping better since the antibiotics. She's only been getting up once or twice for something to drink...or like last night, to throw up and then drink water (ugh) I am so tired of throw up!! I really think it might be time to try the prilosec again...the puking is just out of control.
